Running CQB with nothing on your head is a great way to end a game early. The Sentinel MK is a purpose-built airsoft helmet: ABS shell with a nylon polymer liner, 1.9 lbs, designed to handle the kind of impacts that happen when you're sliding through paint-splattered lanes.

The included rail segments are where it actually earns its keep. They mount to the front and sides of the shell so you can carry comms headsets, optics, cameras, or night vision without a separate mount system. A helmet without rails is just a hat. This one is a mounting platform first, head protection second — which is exactly how players use them.

This is protective headgear, not ballistic armor. It won't stop a paint round from stinging — wear your goggles over it, not instead of it — but it turns a mild impact into nothing you notice. The OD Green shell with polymer liner is light enough that you'll forget it's there between engagements, which matters after an hour of milsim when a heavier helmet starts feeling like a vice.
