SHS's 15-tooth piston with piston head is a short-stroke setup for Tokyo Marui spec Version 2 and Version 3 gearboxes. Removing teeth from the back of the rack releases the piston earlier in the cycle, so it travels a shorter distance under spring pressure. That means a faster cycle and less air per shot, which is why short stroking is a tuning choice rather than a general upgrade. It pairs with a heavier spring to keep velocity where you want it, and it has to be matched to the cylinder and barrel so the reduced air still fills the barrel properly. The set is steel. Because the tooth count isn't standard, check the angle of engagement where the sector gear picks up the rack before you close the shell.
