Stock 1911 grip panels are often polymer or checkered wood. Both work, and neither is particularly light. Atlas Custom Works' Cobra Skeleton panels cut the weight while keeping the grip solid. They're made from aluminum, and the skeleton pattern removes material where it doesn't add strength.

Fit and finish. These panels fit most 1911 Government and Commander size airsoft pistols. The mounting holes match standard 1911 grip screws, so you're not drilling or tapping anything.

What changes when you install them. The skeleton cutouts break up the look of the usual solid plate, and the aluminum feels different — cooler and more rigid. Weight reduction is small but real on a pistol you carry all day. If you're building a showpiece 1911, the silver matches well with chrome or stainless slides.

Includes a pair of panels — left and right. Grip screws are not included; reuse what came with your pistol or pick up a stainless set separately.
