Most pump-action shotguns in airsoft are short-stroke toys that barely register on a chrono. This one actually shoots like a shotgun should.
Atlas Custom Works' 870 sawed-off runs 390 FPS on 0.20g BBs from a solid metal build with real wood furniture. It's compact enough for tight CQB lanes, and the pump action delivers a satisfying mechanical cycle every shot — not the plastic-on-plastic feel of cheaper pumps, but something with real weight behind it. The metal receiver, outer barrel, and pump housing sit alongside genuine wood grips and handguard. The overall color is black, with the wood furniture providing the contrast.
Velocity and where it fits. 390 FPS on 0.20g puts this at the low end of most outdoor field caps. It clears a lot of 400-FPS fields, sits comfortably inside 380–400 ranges, and is more than capable for indoor and CQB play. As always, chrono with your own BBs before your first game — ambient temperature and BB weight both shift the number. Expect solid, effective range in CQB distances; shotgun patterns don't carry well past 75–100 feet, and the shorter barrel won't help.
Pump action, real feel. The pump action is what makes this gun interesting. It's a deliberate reload cycle — work the fore-end, seat the next shot, squeeze — and that mechanical satisfaction is the point. It's not designed for speed of fire. It's designed for players who want a shotgun that behaves like a shotgun, not a semi-auto in disguise. If you're playing fast-paced open fields, this isn't your weapon. For CQB and close-quarters milsim? It earns its keep.
What's in the box. The package includes the shotgun, a magazine, the manual, a speed loader, and a bag of BBs. The speed loader makes reloading faster and helps keep BBs organized on the field. Bring your own BBs and a chrono session before your first game to make sure everything checks out at your local field.
A note on the sawed-off form. At 22 inches overall, this is short enough to carry comfortably indoors but may draw attention at events — many fields have minimum length requirements for RIFs. Check with your event organizer ahead of time. The Canada-compliant rating means the orange tip is present and will be in accordance with Canadian regulations.
Includes federally mandated blaze orange muzzle tip.
