The SVD is one of the most recognizable sniper platforms in airsoft, and this spring version from Atlas Custom Works gives you that bolt-action experience without gas or batteries. The full metal body carries realistic weight, while the polymer grip, handguard, and stock keep it from becoming a shoulder-bruiser. The removable cheek rest means you can dial in eye position for any optic, or take it off if your scope's height adjustment covers it. It's the kind of gun that makes you want to work the bolt between shots.
What the specs mean. Rated 490–500 FPS on 0.20g BBs, which sits squarely inside typical bolt-action limits (450–550 FPS). At 47.6 inches overall, this is a long rifle — built for open-field accuracy, not tight quarters. It's a spring rifle, so you rack the bolt for each shot — single-shot mode, no auto option. The 30-round magazine is your feeding source, and with the included speed loader you can reload faster than round-by-round.
Optics-ready platform. The SVD side rail on the receiver accepts scope mounts — that's the platform's native rail, not an AK adaptation. A scope is genuinely needed to use this rifle at its intended range; it won't put you at the top of any list on an open field without one.
What else you need. Nothing else is included beyond the gun, magazine, manual, speed loader, and 2500 BBs. No scope, and that's on purpose — leave that choice to your own preference and field rules. If you're running this with a scope for the first time, budget twenty minutes at home zeroing your optic before heading to the field.
Who should look elsewhere. If you want a low-maintenance weekend gun that you grab and play, a gas or electric model does that better. This is for players who enjoy the SVD platform's handling and don't mind working the bolt. It's also not a CQB gun — 47.6 inches is too long for tight lanes.
Includes federally mandated blaze orange muzzle tip. Canadian-compliant model.
