The slide stop is one of those parts you manipulate constantly — every reload, every quick transition. Factory pieces on GBB pistols are often soft metal or plastic, and they wear down or develop play over time. The Atlas Custom Works Type 2 replaces it with CNC-machined aluminum that holds its shape.

What changes. The Type 2 has a slightly larger contact surface than the stock piece, so your thumb finds it more reliably under pressure. The engagement is positive without being stiff, and the extra rigidity means less wobble as the slide cycles. You'll notice the difference most on rapid reloads, where a sloppy slide stop costs you a second.

Fit and finish. Blue-anodized aluminum matches most GBB externals. It's a drop-in replacement — no gunsmithing, no fitting, just swap it out. The package includes only the slide stop; everything else stays as it was.
