A worn or sloppy slide stop is one of those small failures that ruins a match. The slide won't lock back on empty, or it binds when you thumb it forward. The Atlas Custom Works Type 6 slide stop replaces the factory part on most Hi-Capa gas blowback pistols with a stainless steel version that holds its shape under repeated use.

Type 6 design. This is ACW's sixth iteration of the slide stop geometry. The profile is trimmed to clear the frame rail cleanly through the full travel, and the engagement surface is machined to sit flush against the slide catch notch. That reduces the play you sometimes feel on cheaper replacements, where the slide can drift forward before the lock engages.

Material and finish. Stainless steel construction resists wear from the slide cycling thousands of rounds. The hologram finish is a decorative coating, not a functional treatment — it looks distinctive but does not affect durability or friction. If you prefer a bare metal or black oxide look, ACW offers the same part in other finishes.

Compatibility. Fits most Hi-Capa GBB platforms in the 1911 family. If your pistol has been heavily modified with an aftermarket frame or a non-standard slide stop channel, verify fit before ordering. The package includes only the slide stop; installation tools and hardware are not included.
