The Type 1 slide stop is one of those small parts that gets used hard on a Hi-Capa. Every time you rack the slide for a reload or lock it back on empty, the factory piece takes a hit. Atlas Custom Works's version is stainless steel, so it won't wear down the way softer metals can.

What you get. This is the Type 1 profile—the shorter, cleaner design that matches original 1911 geometry. The hologram finish is a thin coating over the steel, not a color that encodes anything about fit or function. It ships as a single slide stop; no installation hardware or tools are included.

Fitment. The part is cut for most Hi-Capa gas blowback platforms. Some frames may need light filing or pin adjustment to seat cleanly, which is normal when swapping aftermarket slide stops on 1911-style pistols. If your build already uses ACW internals or is a known custom frame, expect a closer fit.

What it does not do. This is a replacement part, not a performance upgrade. It won't change your trigger pull, rate of fire, or slide travel. It's for when the factory piece is worn, damaged, or you want the look of a stainless Type 1 on your build.
