A worn slide stop is a common failure point on Hi-Capa gas blowback pistols. The factory part can develop play in the pivot pin, and the lock-back action gets sloppy after a few thousand rounds. The Atlas Custom Works Type 6 replaces it with stainless steel, so the pivot stays tight and the lock-up stays consistent.

What the Type 6 does. This is a direct replacement for the factory slide stop on most Hi-Capa GBB platforms. It engages the same notch on the frame, and the lock-back geometry matches the original. If your slide does not lock back on empty, or if the lever feels loose when you thumb it down, this part fixes that without needing a gunsmith. It ships in Brown, which pairs with FDE or desert-tan frame finishes.

Material and fit. Stainless steel construction resists wear from repeated slide impacts. The Type 6 profile is slightly more angular than the rounded factory part, giving you a clearer edge to thumb. It is a drop-in fit for most Hi-Capa frames, but if you are running a heavily modified frame or a non-standard buffer setup, check clearances before installation.
