Low-light play is a guessing game without a light. You can't confirm targets, you can't spot tripwires or field obstacles, and you can't run a field when the sun drops. The X300 from Atlas Custom Works is a compact tactical LED built for mounting to an airsoft pistol so you can see what you're pointing at.

What it does. The LED illuminates a section of field in front of you, so you can identify targets in dim conditions and avoid shooting into a shadow. It also gives you a signalling option when game day runs late or you're playing under lights that leave the edges of the field dark.

Build. Aluminum body. It takes abuse and sheds heat from the LED so sustained use doesn't cook the housing.

Before you buy. It mounts via rail, so check your pistol has an uninterrupted rail section long enough for the light. Also check which batteries it uses and grab spares — runtime matters between games.
