If you want a sidearm that feels like the real thing without the range restrictions, the Double Bell M1911 GBB is where most players start. It runs on green gas, so the slide kicks back on every shot, the safety works, and the manual of arms is the same as a steel 1911. That matters when you're training or just want a pistol that doesn't feel like a toy.
Velocity and where it fits. Rated 230–250 FPS on 0.20g BBs. That sits comfortably inside typical indoor CQB limits and works on outdoor fields that allow sidearms at lower caps. As always, chrono with your own BBs before you play—temperature and gas pressure move the number.
What you're holding. Full metal slide with polymer grip panels. The two-tone finish pairs a black frame with silver-accented levers. Adjustable hop-up for shot-to-shot consistency, fixed front and rear sights, and a functional beavertail safety. It's a single-stack, so the grip stays slim and easy to carry.
Platform and parts. Built around standard TM-style 1911 GBB internals. That means inner barrels, hop-up buckings, recoil springs, and seal valves are interchangeable with a wide range of aftermarket parts. If you want to tune it, you're not locked into one brand.
What's in the box. Pistol, 28-round green gas magazine, cleaning rod, and a spare loading nozzle. Green gas or propane and 6mm BBs are not included. Plan on a couple of spare mags if you shoot often—28 rounds empties fast with GBB blowback.
This is a CQB and backup pistol, not a primary for open fields. It's also not a cold-weather gun; GBB performance drops when it's chilly, and CO2 will over-pressurize the internals unless the manufacturer specifically rates it for that.
