If you need a sidearm that feels like the real thing without the paperwork, this is where most players start. The Double Bell M1911 runs on green gas with a reciprocating slide that locks back on empty, so the manual of arms is the same as a steel 1911. At 230–250 FPS on 0.20g BBs, it clears most indoor CQB limits and works as a backup on outdoor fields where your primary is too loud to draw.
What you're holding. Metal slide and frame with polymer grip panels. The two-tone finish—silver slide on black frame—is the classic look, and the texture on the grip panels is there for wet-hand control, not decoration.
How it runs. Inside is a standard M1911 GBB gas system. Pull the trigger, the slide cycles, the next round chambers. The hop-up is adjustable and sits in the barrel assembly, so you dial in trajectory without tools. The included 28-round magazine uses the common 723J gas valve pattern, which means spares are available from multiple manufacturers and you're not locked into one brand.
What comes in the box. Pistol, one 28-round gas magazine, cleaning rod, spare loading nozzle, and the manual. You do not need to hunt for a nozzle if the original wears out—it's already there. Green gas and BBs are not included.
Before you buy. This is a gas blowback, which means it will not perform the same in cold weather. Below roughly 50°F, gas pressure drops and you'll get shorter range, weaker recoil, and occasional failures to cycle. If you play outdoors in winter, an HPA adapter or a spring pistol is the better choice. The grip safety must be depressed to fire—if you're used to striker-fired pistols, you'll need to build the muscle memory.
Upgrades. The platform accepts Tokyo Marui and WE-spec inner barrels, hop-up buckings, and gas valves. A 6.01mm tightbore barrel and an upgraded bucking tighten groupings. High-flow magazine valves improve cycling consistency, especially if you run hot gas or shoot in warmer conditions. None of this is required out of the box, but the parts ecosystem is deep if you want to tune it.
Includes federally mandated blaze orange muzzle tip.
