The Double Bell M1911 is a gas blowback sidearm built for players who want realistic manual of arms in a compact package. At 2.1 lbs with a metal slide and frame, it has the heft and balance of a real 1911, which matters when you're drawing from a holster or working the controls under stress. The blowback action cycles the slide on every shot, giving you recoil impulse and a working safety that trains muscle memory rather than just firing a projectile.
Velocity and where it fits. Rated 260–300 FPS on 0.20g BBs. That puts it squarely in the CQB and indoor field range, and it will chrono safely at most outdoor events as a backup pistol. Green gas output varies with temperature, so expect lower velocity in cold weather and higher in heat. Always chrono with your own BBs before your first game.
What comes in the box. You get the pistol, a 26-round green gas magazine, a cleaning rod, a spare loading nozzle, and a hard storage case. Green gas and BBs are not included, and you'll want both before you can shoot it. The 26-round capacity is typical for realistic GBB magazines—it's low compared to plastic high-caps, but that's the trade for the metal construction and blowback mechanism.
Externals and controls. Metal slide and frame with textured polymer grips. The extended beaver tail grip safety and manual thumb safety both function as on a real 1911, so you can practice proper handling. Front and rear iron sights are low-profile, and there's a lower rail for lights or lasers. The two-hole tactical trigger and commander-style hammer are styled for the platform, not competition specs.
Maintenance and quirks. GBB pistols need regular lubrication—wipe down the slide rails and lubricate the hop-up and nozzle after every few magazines. Cold weather reduces gas pressure, so performance drops in temperatures below 50°F. The included spare loading nozzle is useful because these can wear or crack over time.
What this is not for. This is a sidearm, not a primary rifle. It's designed for close-range skirmishing, backup duty, or training drills. If you need a gun for 150-foot outdoor engagements, look at an AEG instead.
