The Double Bell M1911 is a green gas blowback pistol built for players who want the manual of arms without the price tag of a premium model. The real wood grip panels aren't just cosmetic; they give it a classic 1911 look and feel that stands out from the usual all-polymer or full-metal clones. The full metal slide and frame add realistic weight.
How the blowback works. The reciprocating slide locks back on empty, just like the real steel. You'll need to rack it to chamber the first round, and the safety works as expected. The blowback cycle is responsive, though like any green gas system, it will slow down in cold weather. That's not a defect; it's how gas blowback behaves.
Velocity is CQB-ready. Rated 230–250 FPS on 0.20g BBs. That keeps you inside typical indoor arena limits and makes it a reliable sidearm for outdoor players who need a backup that won't get them flagged at the chrono station. As always, run your own BBs through a chronograph before your first game—temperature and gas pressure both move the number.
What's in the box. The pistol comes with a 28-round single-stack gas magazine, a cleaning rod, and a spare loading nozzle. Battery and charger are not required, but you'll want extra magazines if you plan on more than a few reloads per game. The magazine is standard 1911 pattern, so spares are available from multiple manufacturers.
Internals and upgrades. The gearbox follows standard GBB design, which means it accepts common aftermarket parts like TM-spec and WE-spec inner barrels, hop-up buckings, and blowback components. If you're looking to tune it, a 6.01mm tightbore barrel and an upgraded bucking will improve accuracy. The hop-up is adjustable, which matters more than most people think for shot-to-shot consistency.
Before you buy. This is a green gas pistol, not a CO2 or HPA system. It will lose power in cold weather, and the gas magazine holds fewer rounds than an AEG mid-cap. If you're looking for an all-weather, high-capacity primary, this isn't it. But if you want a realistic sidearm for CQB, training, or just the feel of a working slide, it does the job.
Includes federally mandated blaze orange muzzle tip.
