Double Bell M92 Gas Blowback Airsoft Pistol, Black

The Double Bell M92 GBB fills a specific niche: a realistic gas blowback pistol that won't break the bank. If you want the manual of arms—working slide, blowback recoil, the feel of a metal slide on a polymer frame—without spending three figures, this is where most players start. The 320–330 FPS rating on 0.20g BBs puts it squarely in the indoor and CQB range, and it's light enough to carry as a sidearm on a full kit.

How it feels in hand. The metal slide gives it weight up top, but the polymer frame keeps the overall mass down. Textured grips help with control during rapid follow-up shots, and the blowback cycle is noticeable without being so aggressive that it throws your aim off. That's the GBB trade: you lose some of the temperature-independent consistency of an AEG, but you gain the manual of arms and the recoil that makes dry-fire practice actually useful.

Internals and upgrades. The M92 platform is one of the most supported in airsoft. The internals follow Tokyo Marui dimensions, so tightbore barrels, buckings, nozzles, and recoil springs are all available off the shelf. If you want to tune it, you're not locked into a proprietary ecosystem. The adjustable hop-up lets you dial in heavier BBs for better wind resistance, though you'll need to verify velocity after any change.

What comes in the box. The pistol ships with a 23-round drop-free magazine and a hardshell carrying case. That magazine capacity is typical for GBB pistols in this class—you'll be reloading more often than with a high-capacity AEG mag, but the trade is realistic weight and size. The case is useful for transport and keeps everything together when you're not playing.

Before you buy. You'll need green gas and 6mm BBs separately. Green gas performance drops in cold weather, so if you play outdoors in winter, expect reduced velocity and weaker blowback. A silicone oil maintenance kit is also worth picking up to keep the seals lubricated. Battery and charger are not applicable here—this runs on gas, not electricity.

This is a sidearm first. It's for CQB, for backup on a primary loadout, or for players who want to practice draw and target transitions without the bulk of a rifle. It is not for trading shots at distance—once you're past 50 feet, a proper primary will outperform it every time.

Includes federally mandated blaze orange muzzle tip.
