Lancer Tactical's steel cut-off lever replaces the stamped or cast part in most Version 2 gearboxes. The cut-off lever is what makes semi-automatic fire one shot per trigger pull: the sector gear trips it at the end of each cycle, breaking the trigger circuit until you release the trigger. A worn or broken one lets the gun fire two or three rounds on a single pull, or stops it resetting on semi at all. Fitting it means opening the gearbox, and while you're in there the selector plate and trigger contacts are worth checking, since the three work together. If your gun is doubling on semi, this is the first thing to inspect. It comes as a single cut-off lever.
