When you drop a Hi-Capa magazine hard enough to crack the base, or you just want a color that matches your slide, the 5KU Base Cover is the swap. It replaces the stock bottom plate on 5.1 Hi-Capa Type 4 magazines.

Aluminum construction holds up to impact and abrasion that plastic bases wear through, and the anodized finish won't chip or fade. Weight stays negligible at 0.02 lbs, so you're not adding any noticeable heft to the mag.

Fit is specific. This base cover is made for 5.1 Hi-Capa Type 4 magazines. It won't fit Type 1, 2, or 3 variants, and it's not universal across other pistol platforms. Check your mag's model before ordering.

What's in the box. One magazine base plate. The mag body and follower are not included. Installation is straightforward—remove the old base and press the new one into place.

What this is not. This is a cosmetic and protective upgrade, not a capacity or performance modification. If you need higher capacity or a different follow system, look at complete replacement magazines instead.
