What it does. The base plate takes the abuse when you set your mag down or rack it in a tight pouch. Aluminum holds up well, and the black finish resists wear. You can also spot your mags faster in a multi-mag pouch — the metal base stands out against polymer mags.
Compatibility. This fits Type 5 / 5.1 Hi-Capa magazines. It will not work on other Hi-Capa variants or different pistol platforms. Check your mag model before ordering.
