Atlas Custom Works makes stainless steel outer barrels for the Tokyo Marui Hi-Capa 5.1 platform. This is the gold-finished hexagon profile, threaded 11mm clockwise internally for suppressors, tracers, and mock compensators.
What the outer barrel does. An outer barrel is a cosmetic and compatibility component — it does not affect velocity, range, or accuracy. Those are determined by the inner barrel, hop-up, and air seal. The outer barrel protects the internals, provides a mounting point for muzzle devices, and sets the visual profile of the pistol. Stainless steel resists corrosion and holds machining tolerances well, which matters when you're mounting accessories that need to seat squarely.
Fit and threading. This barrel is cut for Tokyo Marui Hi-Capa 5.1 GBB pistols and clones built to that spec. The 11mm clockwise internal thread is the standard for GBB pistols in this class. Most mock suppressors and tracers for Hi-Capa use this pattern, so you do not need an adapter. If you are running a 14mm CCW rifle accessory, you will need a 14mm-to-11mm adapter.
Weight and balance. At 100 grams, this is a light addition to a Hi-Capa frame. The hexagon profile removes material without weakening the barrel, keeping the front end from getting top-heavy during rapid target transitions. That matters more in competition than on the range, but the difference is noticeable if you run a two-gun setup or carry a duty pistol as a baseline.
What you get. Just the outer barrel. No inner barrel, no hop-up unit, no mounting hardware. If you are building a competition pistol from a parts list, confirm your inner barrel length and hop-up chamber match the rest of your build. The gold finish resists wear, but it will show scratches if you field-strip the pistol frequently.
