If you're building a competition Hi-Capa or just want a cleaner external profile on your GBB, the outer barrel is the first upgrade that changes how the pistol looks and what you can attach. This Atlas Custom Works Stainless Hexagon barrel fits Tokyo Marui Hi-Capa 5.1 frames and compatible clones, swapping out the stock round barrel for a hex profile that reads as more tactical without adding bulk.
The threading matters. It uses 11mm clockwise internal threading, which is the Hi-Capa standard. Most airsoft rifles use 14mm counter-clockwise, so your usual suppressor or flash hider won't fit without an adapter. If you already have 11mm CW accessories, this barrel takes them directly. If not, you'll need to source an adapter or buy accessories in the Hi-Capa thread pattern.
Stainless steel construction. The barrel is machined from stainless steel, which resists corrosion and handles repeated cycling without wearing down. At 100 grams, it's light enough that you won't notice a balance shift during draw or transition, but the weight is enough to feel solid in hand compared to polymer stock barrels.
What you get and what you don't. The package includes only the outer barrel. No suppressor, no tracer unit, no mounting hardware beyond what's built into the barrel itself. You'll need to source those separately based on your build goals. The barrel also doesn't change internal ballistics—it's an external component, so expect the same FPS and hop-up behavior you had before the swap.
This is a fit-specific part. It's built for Hi-Capa 5.1 platforms. If you're running a different GBB pistol or an AEG, this won't thread or seat correctly.
