The M870 is the shotgun everyone knows from real life, and Golden Eagle's take on it is designed for players who want the blowback and burst-fire feel of a gas shotgun without needing a separate battery and MOSFET. It fires CO2-powered shells from removable 30-round mags, and the pump action gives you full manual control over the cycling while the CO2 in each shell handles the blowback and feeding.
How the shells work. This isn't a tube-fed shotgun you reload round by round. Each magazine is a self-contained shell that holds 30 BBs, and it drops into the magazine tube the same way an M870's tube mag would. A receiver-mounted selector lets you switch between a 3-shot burst and a 6-shot burst — fewer BBs for engagements where you want tighter patterns and less scatter, or more for close-range rooms. The selector is dead simple and works the same way every time.
Power, weight and feel. CO2 cartridges are loaded inside each shell, not hidden away in the stock. That's why it's 4 lbs solid — the metal receiver, outer barrel, magazine tube, top rail and forend add up, and the weight is one of this gun's strengths. It absorbs the blowback better than an aluminium-carbon build, and the pump action is crisp because each shot cycles cleanly.
Velocity is easy to play. Rated 260–300 FPS on 0.20g BBs, which sits well inside indoor caps and most CQB limits. If you need to drop it further, running a heavier BB does the trick. Chrono with the BBs you'll actually play with. The ghost ring iron sights are simple and fast to acquire targets with, and the mock shell tube adds to the look without adding a functional part.
What's in the box. The shotgun itself, six polymer shotgun shells, CO2 cartridges, and a bag of BBs. The shells are the real value here — they're where the 30 rounds of ammunition live, and at that capacity you're not counting shots the way you would with a pistol or a low-cap GBB. You're not running out mid-game.
Before you buy. The CO2 cartridges live inside the shells, so there's no stock compartment for extra gas or a battery. If you want LiPO power for an AEG in the same loadout, you'll need a battery on your hip or in a drop-leg rig. The shotgun is fully metal on the critical parts, which gives it a solid hand but does make it heavy if you're carrying another gun all day. It's not sold for use in Canada.
Includes federally mandated blaze orange muzzle tip.
