The fabric. 35% cotton and 65% polyester with ripstop reinforcement gives you something that breathes better than full synthetics but dries faster than pure cotton. The ripstop weave means small tears don't turn into long rips.

Pockets. These are field pants, so you get the cargo pockets you'd expect — big enough for phones, spare mags, and the usual gear. They're the kind of feature you only appreciate when you're at the field and need something reachable without taking off your vest.

Kneepads. The package includes basic kneepads. They're foam, not hard-shell armor, but they're better than nothing when you're digging in or crawling through cover. If you run serious knee protection, the pants have slots that accept most standard pads.
