The real problem this shirt solves is comfort under gear. Most airsoft players wear a base layer under plate carriers or chest rigs, and that layer tends to bunch, chafe, and trap heat during long games. The Lancer Tactical Gen4 combat shirt is built to sit flat and move with you instead.

The fabric. The torso is a 93% cotton and 7% spandex blend — stretchy, soft against the skin, and flexible enough to not bind at the shoulders. The sleeves are 50% cotton and 50% polyester, a heavier weave that takes more abuse than the torso fabric. You'll notice the difference in weight between the two, and that's by design.

The elbows. Removable EVA pads come pre-installed. If you play CQB or spend time in the prone, they protect your sleeves and give you a bit of cushion on hard surfaces. If you prefer full range of motion without bulk, they pop out in seconds. You get the option either way.

What it isn't. This is a combat shirt, not a stand-alone field shirt. Wear it by itself on a cold day and you'll feel the difference between the thick sleeves and the thin, stretchy torso. It's meant to be a base layer, not a solo act.
