Building a Hi-Capa from scratch means choosing the frame first. This is Atlas Custom Works' 4.3-inch aluminum frame for Tokyo Marui-spec Hi-Capa 2011 gas blowback pistols. It replaces the factory polymer frame with a CNC-machined 7075 aluminum one, which changes how the pistol feels in hand and what it can handle over time. At 140 grams, it's light for a metal frame, and the 185mm length is the standard 4.3-inch competitive Hi-Capa size.

What's in the box. The frame comes with a stainless steel sear, valve knocker, and pin set. These are the small internals that touch the slide and trigger mechanism, and upgrading them from factory parts reduces wear and improves consistency. You still need the rest of your build: slide, barrel, hop-up unit, magazine, and gas system. This is just the foundation.

Fit and compatibility. It's machined for Tokyo Marui-spec Hi-Capa receivers and also fits M1911-style GBB pistols that follow the TM pattern. If your parts are from a different platform—KWA, WE, or a non-TM clone—this may not line up. The tactical rail along the dust cover accepts standard compact lights, which matters for training or defensive-style builds.

Installation note. This is not a drop-in swap if you're coming from a polymer frame. Pin holes, trigger guard geometry, and slide fit can vary. A gunsmith or experienced builder should handle the assembly, especially if you're mixing parts from multiple manufacturers. Performance depends on proper installation, and improper fitting can affect safety and reliability.
